Salix CC: West Londons Finest |
FOOTBALL offers the world clichés; RUGBY
produces facial deformity; HOCKEY provides an acceptable outlet for psychotic
violence; CRICKET alone breeds myths more

What a great time we had on our Tour de France II, April
2006
 |
|
| Acting on
a recommendation from Lodi CC in Italy, in 2006 we played
the Riveria (formerly Cabris) Cricket Club on Saturday and
Entrecasteaux CC on the Sunday in the Var Region of Provence. And
we had a fab time, with especial thanks to Maurice and Ann,
and to Brian for all their help. |

have placed the field if he had still been in charge |

and some details of the club at http://www.varvillagevoice.com/cricket.htm .
Riviera CC play at St Vallier de Thiey . Above is the Tour de la
Faye col and the road to Digne, which is on the Route Napoleon
.
We all stayed at The
Hotel la Villa Tosca , right in the middle of Cannes - an
excellent and inexpensive hotel with lovely staff, rooms and
bang on the for the local boozers and nighteries.
