Dave Goodwin's first game for us. The first game at Hatch End. No bowling figs available, but I remember us batting first, setting 130 to win;

Bill Martin bowled the last over, and they needed a 6 off the last ball to win, but ran 3. Our last win against FNB for a while.

I note that my pals Dave Goodwin (actor) Gwynne Beech (actor with the RSC and Martini Man of the Year) and Big Al (heavy drinker) were all playing, so I guess we must have been pushed to get a team out!
