As I got home late and am going on hols early in the morning, this is a brief report 'cos I'm too depressed to write anymore.  The scorebook will be done on the 27th July.

It was overcast. We won the toss.  We got off to a blistering start. (Fletch = catch of season in slips)

Then they dug in

Steve bowled well - (8 Overs 4 for 24).  Mike Ellis took another great catch

Salix CC did not drop a catch.  miracle!

We had tea.

It drizzled a bit

Our batting collapsed except Matt who got 40

We lost.  Badly. And got home late
